Shrimp and Grits
Ingredients:
Instant Gourmet Everything Seasoning
1 pack of bacon (of your choice)
Shredded cheese
Grits
Butter
1 pack of medium or large uncooked shrimp
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F
2. On cookie sheet, cover with non-stick aluminum foil, cut bacon in ½ and place on the non-stick aluminum foil. Place it in the oven and cook until bacon is crisp. Once bacon is finished cooking, cut up some of the bacon slices into pieces and set aside.
3. In a small pot add water and butter and bring to a boil. Turn down and add grits and be sure to stir. Once cooked set them to the side.
4. Peel your shrimp, rinse, set on a paper towel, dry, and then add them to a bowl. Add your parsley flakes and “Instant Gourmet Everything Seasoning” and mix well. In a skillet, add butter and shrimp and cook for 5 minutes on each side, take them out and set them aside.
5. In a bowl add your grits, cheese, shrimp, and top with the bacon pieces. With the other pieces of bacon, stand them up in the middle of the bowl and add more cheese to your
liking.
